Haters hating...

I find this offensive in so many ways..but the most offensive aspect of it are when I see the children surrounding him nodding in agreement. Our children are what we teach them to be....how is teaching them to hate a good thing? a god thing?

Unfortunately there is a large segment of the country who believes this.

Whether you believe something is right or wrong, we should not teach others to be hateful and hurtful. Live and let live.

This is scary.....yes Children do learn what they live. The cycle needs to end and it needs to end now if we want any chance for peace in the future. It saddens me to know that we still live like this.

Being gay is not normal. If its not right to hate but it is right to teach children that it is not n accept way of living.

@Anonymous - and what would be your response if one of your children were gay?

Angel..live and let live...wish people would teach their children THAT message with such emotion.

Tracey...I keep thinking we have evolved into better humanbeings than before...but then things like this nix those thoughts and Im back to square one....believing we arent much better than animals we profess to be superior too.

Anon...that is your opinion and you are entitled to it...but not everyone thinks that and that doesnt give anyone the right to say shit like this man is. Teaching children to accept that people are different for whatever reasons is the right thing to do.

Tracey...yes I sometimes wonder at those that hate gays...I pity their own children who happen to discover they are gay.

Cool Red=

just come out already, we all know you are gay! And you have no right to mention the word god, what do you know about him?

Your a red neck hillbilly just like the guy in the video and also a hater, you may love gays but your a hater to Muslims and Islam, I ve seen your rants on other blogs.

I hope you dont profess or pretend to be a Christian, cause your not representing Christ like behavior!

Anon...why do you bother to come to my blog and trash talk me but havent got the balls to leave an actual name? btw GOD GOD GOD ....have you got a trademark on that word or what? I can and will mention it as I choose. Free world...and I dont hate Muslims or Islam and I dare you to show me even one single comment I have ever left anywhere that proves that I do. Not agreeing with Muslims is NOT the same as hating them...get your facts straight.

And I have never professed to be christian my whole life...so that was a shot in the dark...and a miss.

Troll like behavior is annoying...if that's the best you can do...why bother?

And I might add that your short little hatefilled comment there has more hate than anything you will find written by me anywhere on the internet...so whose the hateful unmuslimlike unchristianlike person now??? Whatever.

whither you think being gay is normal or not that doesn't give you the right to cause harm to them. Love them, hate them, that's up to you as no one can force you to love or hate something. I just disagree with the fact that being gay is a good thing or a god thing; that varies from person to another as it's not a fact. It might be good from the point of view of gay people, still straight people cannot judge gays by sexuality, just live and let live. For me, i hope none of my kids becomes gay as i know the suffer s/he's gonna go through where i live. I think suffer for gay people is not easier even in the United States; there are a lot of conservative states which are not very gay-friendly. American laws guarantee freedom for everyone, one of the things that makes me respect a country like America, but you can't always guarantee people's response toward things. If one of my kids asks me one day about gay people i will tell him what i believe and stress it's my own point of view.

Hussam...yes...whether you agree or accept that people are homosexual is something you have to deal with (any you) but why feel the need to spread such hatefilled messages about homosexuals? Leave them to it. If they are sinning it is their sin...why does it bother people so much what homosexuals are doing in their bedrooms...or who they love? I just dont get the fixation on it myself.

coolred38... I do agree, it's no body's right to judge others and alter their lives because they're different. And this is what i meant when i said i won't impose my beliefs on my kids, people need to find things to make them closer to each other, not to waste time to find things that separate us and make us hate each other.

I dont understand how people can be attracted to the same sex, but I know I dont understand alot in life. Its not for me to judge. Only God can do that, and Im afraid for my own skin with him!

I haven't even watched the video...seen too many of them. I had a dear friend who was gay once and asked them what it was like to be gay. This person told me that IF HE COULD he would not choose to be gay because it is a very lonely and ridiculed life. They don't have the same rights married people have and yet they love and can form the same long term bonds as married people do.

Since I believe in most cases it is genetic it is the same thing to me at least as ridiculing someone for having green eyes.

oops...the anonymous above is me.

Tracey, first of all I would teac h my kid how not to be a gay as it is sinful. And if he becomes one, I would make sure to set him straight. Whatever it takes.

Being gay is not genetic. It is the soceity that makes one a gay. If one is born being both genders then that is different.

coolred38 said...

Huda...you are exactly right. Unless you are gay, are "different" in whatever way...how can we possibly know what that feels like?

Oby...thats the way I feel about it. Every gay person I have ever talked too said they didnt choose to be gay...why would you when society will make you miserable for that choice.

Anon...if society makes you gay why arent YOU gay? Did you fight against the tendencies society was endearing in you? That is hardly an factual statement....and what would you do to set your child "straight"...cut out whatever it is that made him or her gay...as if that can be removed from someone? For the sake of any children you may have...I hope you dont have any.

Hussam said...

Coolred, i think yes you're right it's not the society that makes someone gay but at the same time no one on earth can prove it's genetic. for me i believe some incidents happen in a kid's life and impact him/ her in a way that makes him/her gay. At the end of the day i stress i have nothing against them, LIVE and LET LIVE. and if you think it's sinful or "haram" then there is a God to judge things.

"Gay is NOT genetic..."

Actually there have been studies that are showing more conclusively that it most likely is genetic. They even now know which gene is responsible...
